D2E Group Fitness starts way back in 2013 when Eric and Mel were running classes inside the Barbarian Muay Thai gym which we will be forever grateful for as the helped us at the very start.
As the classes grew, we had to find our own place landing us at the current location in Delacombe. As time passed by the business headed in the commercial gym direction ultimately forcing us to finish group fitness to allow growth of the gym.
Fast forward to the time of Covid19 and multiple lockdowns where we seized the opportunity to build our beautiful studio on the mezzanine floor.
This studio is designed to be light and bright and a complete new space amongst our amazing gym and offers our clients a place to work with our instructors to achieve the goals and dreams they have always wanted.
We have brought back our own style of strength circuits and hit classes which were loved by so many in the past with the addition of Yoga and Pilates.
What can you expect from our classes? The classes are designed to tailor for absolute beginners right through to superior athletes as we run on a time limit meaning each client does their absolute most for that time block. It is irrelevant whether our clients do 1 rep or 100 reps of each exercise as long as they are doing their best, couple this with our instructors helping with form and motivation and you have the perfect combination to see everyone feeling successful and accomplished.
We are believers in building strength, and we have always promoted that building strength helps with all goal types but also has a profound effect on confidence and self-belief so all of our classes and structured around using both bodyweight and a selection of weights to achieve a great workout all while learning good form.
Lastly, we have both Myzone and CloudFit screens in the gym help give our clients the extra push and technology to enhance the experience and gives our instructors more ability to push you to your limits.
